Care and support for female members

(CT) - Since the beginning of the year, the Women's Union of Phuoc Thoi ward has increased activities to support female members in economic development, improving living standards and ensuring social security.

Phuoc Thoi Ward Women's Union organized a gift giving ceremony for students who are children of union members in difficult circumstances in the 2025-2026 school year.

The Association mobilized support for 717 gifts for poor women members and those in difficult circumstances on holidays and Tet; supported the construction of a Charity House worth 60 million VND; mobilized the giving of 150 gifts to students who are children of members in difficult circumstances on the occasion of the opening of the new school year 2025-2026 (each gift from 200,000-350,000 VND). The Association maintained the model of "Raising piggy banks to support the purchase of health insurance for members and women in difficult circumstances", thereby supporting 15 women to participate in health insurance.

The Ward Women's Union has strengthened its coordination activities to support members and women in accessing loans managed by the union. Currently, the Ward Women's Union effectively manages 34 groups borrowing capital from the Social Policy Bank, with over 1,700 households borrowing; at the same time, it maintains and improves the quality of collective economic models, creating jobs: garment processing association groups, fruit garden cooperative groups, ethnic women's groups helping each other develop family economy...
