National Assembly Chairman receives Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China

On the morning of April 7 (local time), in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on the occasion of attending the 150th Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly (IPU-150), National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man received Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China, Luo Sang Jiangcun.

At the reception, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man affirmed that strengthening and developing friendly, cooperative, stable and long-term relations with China is a consistent policy, a strategic choice and a top priority in the overall strategy. Vietnam's foreign policy

Vietnam is ready to work with China to effectively implement the high-level common perceptions and the Vietnam-China Joint Statements, and continuously promote the deepening of the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership and the Vietnam-China Community of Shared Future, which has strategic significance according to “6+” orientation.

Comrade Luo Tang Jiangcun, Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China, expressed his honor and pleasure to receive Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man; respectfully conveyed to Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man and the high-ranking delegation of the Vietnamese National Assembly the sincere greetings of Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China Zhao Leji.

Comrade Lac Tang Giang Thon affirmed that the Party, State, National Assembly and people of China always attach importance to the relationship with Vietnam; are ready to cooperate closely with the National Assembly of Vietnam to contribute to building the Vietnam-China fraternal friendship, moving towards a new and dynamic development stage, on the foundation of 75 years of Vietnam-China diplomatic relations that have been diligently cultivated by generations of leaders and people of the two countries; expressed confidence that Vietnam will successfully organize the event. 14th National Congress of the Communist Party.

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man was pleased to see that the relationship between the two Parties, States, National Assemblies and peoples has developed well in recent times; high-level exchanges and contacts have taken place closely with unprecedented frequency, and political trust has been strengthened.

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man suggested that the two legislative bodies closely coordinate to prepare well for upcoming high-level visits and contacts between the two countries; effectively implement the Cooperation Agreement between the National Assembly of Vietnam and the National People's Congress of China (signed in April 2024); further promote the role and strengths of the legislative bodies of the two countries in enhancing mutual understanding, expanding people-to-people exchanges and cooperation between localities of the two countries, promoting public education on the good traditional friendship between the two Parties, two States and people of the two countries; promote deeper connections between the two economies, including focusing on implementing large-scale projects that symbolize the cooperative relationship between the two countries; and request China to continue opening its market for goods, especially agricultural and aquatic products with strengths of Vietnam, to export to China.

Comrade Lac Tang Giang Thon promised to report to senior Chinese leaders on the guiding opinions of National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man on the need for the two sides to strengthen cooperation at multilateral forums and international mechanisms, for the benefit of the people of the two countries and the common interests of the international community; agree to better control and resolve maritime issues; seriously implement the high-level common perception and the "Agreement on basic principles guiding the settlement of maritime issues". Comrade Lac Tang Giang Thon also affirmed that China is ready to import high-quality export products from Vietnam, including agricultural products, and hopes that Vietnam will actively send delegations to participate in Chinese import-export fairs, including the ASEAN-China Fair.

On this occasion, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man conveyed his warm regards and invitation to Chairman of the Chinese National People's Congress Zhao Leji to soon visit Vietnam.
