National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue met with outstanding Vietnamese youth attending the Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians

On the occasion of the 9th Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians hosted by the Vietnamese National Assembly taking place at the National Convention Center, on September 15, Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue met with 20 outstanding Vietnamese youth attending the Conference.

Also attending were Party Central Committee member, Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Group of Young National Assembly Deputies of Vietnam, XVth tenure Nguyen Anh Tuan; Alternate Central Committee member, First Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee Bui Quang Huy; Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office - Assistant to the National Assembly Chairman Pham Thai Ha.

National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue thanked the delegates - who are very representative of Vietnamese youth in the fields of digital transformation, innovation and culture - for attending the Conference, an event of great significance not only to Vietnamese youth and young parliamentarians but also to young parliamentarians around the world; he expressed his impression and highly appreciated the excellent achievements of the delegates.

The National Assembly Chairman thanked the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union for successfully organizing the assigned tasks within the framework of the Global Young Parliamentarians Conference, especially chairing the discussion on "Enhancing digital capacity for youth", participating in organizing the exhibition "Vietnam's Aspiration", which was highly appreciated by delegates attending the Conference, making an important contribution to creating the mark of Vietnamese youth and Vietnamese youth at the Conference.

The National Assembly Chairman also said that as soon as the policy of hosting the 9th Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians was adopted, the participation of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union was required because this is a very special organization of our Vietnam. The approach to the agenda of this Conference is not only from the perspective of young parliamentarians but also of young people in general.

The National Assembly Chairman hopes that the delegates and young people of Vietnam will always make continuous efforts to promote their youth, creativity, aspiration and spirit of dedication to join hands in developing a prosperous and powerful country. The achievements that young people have achieved today are just the beginning. With talent, intelligence and aspiration to rise, the young generation of Vietnam can completely conquer even greater heights in the future. "When we reach the top, the goal is not to let others see us, but to see our country and people more clearly, from there, continue to try harder. We must not be subjective or satisfied with the results we have achieved, but must always strive to conquer even greater heights," said the National Assembly Chairman.

Sharing with the youth delegates about his favorite saying "the passing years leave no trace for those who do not know how to look to the future with an intelligent mind and hard work, but happiness will certainly come to those who skillfully use their time like ants carrying a long time to fill their nest, like a tree that grows thicker with each year", the National Assembly Chairman said that, along with talent, each person must persevere in training, have will, determination, and work hard to certainly achieve the desired achievements.

At the meeting, the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and outstanding youth delegates respectfully thanked National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and the Conference Organizing Committee for creating conditions for the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and youth to participate in organizing activities within the framework of the Conference, demonstrating the trust of the Party, State and National Assembly leaders in the youth.

Through participating in organizing activities within the framework of the Conference and interacting with young parliamentarians around the world, the delegates said they felt more proud of Vietnam and more deeply aware of the responsibility of the young generation for the country's development. The delegates affirmed that they will always remember the message of the National Assembly Chairman, persistently strive to achieve more meaningful achievements, and practically contribute to making Vietnam famous among friends around the world.
