Chairman of Yen Bai province sent a letter of thanks to Hanoi education sector

In the letter, Chairman of Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee Tran Huy Tuan said: In recent times, Yen Bai has always paid attention to and developed the education and training sector; at the same time, there have been many attractive policies to supplement the staff for educational institutions.

More than 200 English teachers in Hanoi teach online to students in 4 districts of Yen Bai province.

However, due to the poor mountainous conditions, complex terrain, and difficult transportation, the province's teaching staff currently cannot meet the required quantity, especially English and IT teachers.

Faced with such difficulties, Yen Bai has received timely and meaningful sharing and assistance from the Hanoi People's Committee and the city's Department of Education and Training. In 2023 - 2024, 203 teachers from 122 schools in Hanoi participated in supporting online English teaching for 17 schools and 168 classes in 4 districts of Yen Bai (Van Chan, Van Yen, Tram Tau, Luc Yen) with over 2,100 lessons.

These are all competent teachers with good professional qualifications, a high sense of responsibility, with an IELTS certificate of 6.5 or higher, and most of them have attended training courses in Australia.

In addition, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training has created conditions for the Department of Education and Training of Yen Bai province to attend a number of conferences and seminars on professional matters; and visit key educational institutions in the city. At the same time, it has created conditions for officials, teachers, and 12th grade students of the province to use free high school graduation exam review accounts on the Hanoi On application.

This has contributed to the excitement in the results of English learning at secondary school level and the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam of the province.

Thanking the Hanoi People's Committee and the Hanoi education sector for their attention and sharing, Chairman of Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee Tran Huy Tuan hopes that in the coming time, he will continue to receive support and assistance to contribute to improving the quality of teaching and learning.

It is known that, participating in the English teaching support program for students in 4 districts of Yen Bai province, Hanoi teachers are very enthusiastic, responsible, prepare lessons carefully, and regularly exchange information with the school and teaching assistants.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training also organized an online training workshop on the application of information technology in teaching English, smart classroom models using artificial intelligence and LMS platforms for English teachers in Yen Bai province.

In addition to supporting the education sector of Yen Bai province, Hanoi has also enthusiastically helped teachers and students in many northern mountainous provinces. Through the program "Schools join hands to develop - teachers share responsibility" launched by the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, many teachers from inner-city schools have participated in helping teachers from suburban schools to improve the quality of education.
