On December 12, the Department of Planning and Investment of Hai Phong organized a workshop on investment promotion, supervision and management in Duong Kinh district and Kien Thuy district, Hai Phong city.

The information given by the Department of Planning and Investment of Hai Phong at the workshop attracted much attention from investors, especially real estate investors, that Vinhomes Joint Stock Company is urgently completing procedures and preparing capital to start the project to build a new urban area in Duong Kinh district and Kien Thuy district.

The project has a total investment of over 23,000 billion VND on a total area of ​​over 240 hectares. It is expected that the project will meet the high-quality housing needs of about 48,000 people. Thereby, contributing to shaping and completing the urban infrastructure system of the southern gateway of Hai Phong in sync with the planning and general development of Hai Phong.

Along with the above project, Hai Phong City is calling for investment in major projects in Duong Kinh and Kien Thuy districts. These include urban area projects, industrial parks and clusters in the two localities and the inland waterway port project along the Van Uc River (Kien Thuy district).

Previously, Nguoi Dua Tin had an article "Ready to clear the land for the new urban area project of 240 hectares" with the content: To serve the project to build a new urban area in Duong Kinh district and Kien Thuy district, Hai Phong City plans to reclaim about 107 hectares of land in Hoa Nghia ward, Duong Kinh district and 122 hectares of land in Dai Dong and Dong Phuong communes (both Kien Thuy district).

The land recovered for the project is located adjacent to Highway 5B connecting Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh. Immediately after the Hai Phong City government issued a document approving the investor, the authorities of the three above-mentioned localities immediately prepared for site clearance.

Information about the Hai Phong City government approving Vinhomes to be the investor of the project to build a new 240-hectare urban area has "warmed up" the local real estate market, which had been "frozen" for many months .

Vinhomes' new urban area project in Duong Kinh and Kien Thuy districts, Hai Phong city has a total investment capital of more than 23.2 trillion VND. Of which, the construction cost is about 21.6 trillion VND, the cost for compensation and site clearance is 1.6 trillion VND.

The project includes a high-rise apartment complex (estimated to be 13.9 hectares), 5,000 townhouses (36.6 hectares), and 1,300 villas (18.8 hectares). The project's operating period is 50 years from the date Vinhomes is assigned and leased the land by the city.
