The conference was attended by 300 officials, civil servants, and public employees of the departments under the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of districts, towns, and cities; officials in charge of agriculture , new rural areas, and agricultural extension of the People's Committees of some communes and towns, and representatives of enterprises, cooperatives, farm owners, production households, and production and business organizations in the fields of agriculture and rural areas in the province.

Ha Tinh Agriculture and Rural Development Sector has diverse management subjects and many fields with over 77% of the population living in rural areas; hundreds of thousands of farming households, cooperatives, enterprises, production and business establishments; thousands of civil servants, public employees, workers directly and indirectly involved in State management and agricultural production. Currently, in the context of the strong industrial revolution 4.0, to improve the efficiency of the sector's operations, it is necessary to accelerate the digital transformation process associated with statistical work. Thereby, contributing to promoting the sector's structure towards increasing added value and sustainable development, towards smart, high-tech, ecological, circular agriculture...

At the training conference, experts from the Center for Digital Transformation and Agricultural Statistics - Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Department of Statistics of Ha Tinh province approved 3 topics, including: Policies and orientations on digital transformation of the agriculture and rural development sector, some initial results, experiences and solutions, contents on digital transformation of the Central Government's recommendations and instructions for localities; professional guidance and regulations on statistical work of the agriculture and rural development sector; some contents and regulations on the statistical indicator system and application of information technology for digital transformation in agricultural statistics.
