According to information from the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province, the locality has just announced the opening of 4 water areas eligible for service business in Ha Long Bay, including: Luon Cave area, area: 5.23 hectares; Cua Van fishing village area, area: 29.56 hectares; Dong Tien Lake - Trinh Nu Cave area, area: 32.55 hectares; Cong Do area, area: 62.36 hectares.
Thus, since August 1, Ha Long Bay has added 4 more areas eligible for entertainment service business compared to before.
Luon Cave area in Ha Long Bay is announced to be eligible for entertainment business activities.
The announcement of the recreational activity area in Ha Long Bay has partly "untied" many obstacles in investment and business activities of underwater tourism services such as kayaking, boating... on the bay for many years now according to Decree 48/2019/ND-CP regulating the management of activities of means of transport serving underwater recreation and entertainment.

Previously, Thanh Nien had a series of articles reflecting on the difficulties many businesses providing services on Ha Long Bay faced because the authorities did not announce the opening of water areas eligible for operation.
Accordingly, businesses wishing to operate entertainment services in Ha Long Bay must comply with Decree 48/2019/ND-CP. However, after a long time, Quang Ninh province has only recently announced four areas eligible to operate entertainment activities.
Statistics from the Ha Long Bay Management Board show that in this world natural heritage, there are 15 businesses and households registered to operate entertainment services before the issuance of Decree 48, with 2,135 kayaks, 240 rowing boats and many speedboats. These are services that domestic and foreign tourists are extremely interested in.
