Comrade Ngo Vu Thang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that the event in response to World Tourism Day 2025 is a strategic step, contributing to connecting and spreading the message of developing green and sustainable tourism.

The press conference attracted more than 40 reporters and journalists from inside and outside the province.

The series of events takes place from September 26-30, 2025 with many outstanding activities. In particular, the Famtrip delegation of about 150 guests who are tourism businesses, experts, and journalists will survey cultural and historical tourist attractions such as: Ca Mau Cape Tourist Area; Southern Traditional Music and Musician Cao Van Lau Memorial Site; Bac Lieu Prince's Residence; Hoa Binh 1 Wind Power Plant.

Representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism informed about the series of activities in response to World Tourism Day.

In particular, on September 27, a forest planting ceremony will take place at Mui Ca Mau National Park, affirming the commitment to developing eco-tourism associated with nature conservation.

From September 27-30, Hung Vuong Square will host the Ca Mau Culinary Culture Festival with about 100 food and OCOP booths, along with the "Talented Chef" contest on the morning of September 28. Also on September 28, at Cong Tu Bac Lieu Hotel, the scientific seminar "Positioning Ca Mau tourism brand in the overall development of national tourism" is expected to attract about 300 delegates, experts and businesses to attend.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Ngo Vu Thang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized: Tourism is one of the four outstanding advantages of Ca Mau. Organizing a series of activities in response to World Tourism Day this year is a strategic step to promote potential, create a combined strength of "green, energy, strength", towards sustainable tourism development.

Through the event, the province hopes to expand the space for exchange and connection between businesses, artisans and the tourism community of Ca Mau with Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Da Nang and the Mekong Delta provinces. Thereby, contributing to promoting cooperation, stimulating tourism, and at the same time developing the market for local specialties and OCOP products.

With the desire to spread the message of nature conservation, environmental protection, and promotion of cultural and culinary values, Ca Mau aims to develop green and sustainable tourism, worthy of becoming an attractive destination for domestic and international friends. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his hope that domestic and foreign news agencies and newspapers will continue to accompany and strengthen communication, contributing to spreading and bringing Ca Mau tourism further.
