Announcing more than 600 candidates for the title of Professor and Associate Professor

TPO - The State Council of Professors has just announced the list of candidates recognized for the titles of Professor and Associate Professor in 2024, which were considered at the 2nd meeting of the Council for the 2024-2029 term, on November 2-3.

TPO - The State Council of Professors has just announced the list of candidates recognized for the titles of Professor and Associate Professor in 2024, which were considered at the 2nd meeting of the Council for the 2024-2029 term, on November 2-3.

After the meeting of the State Council of Professors, 615/631 candidates were qualified for the title of Professor and Associate Professor. Of these, 45 candidates achieved the title of Professor and 570 candidates achieved the title of Associate Professor.

Thus, compared to the number of candidates proposed by the Council of Professors of the industry/interdisciplinary to be recognized as Professors and Associate Professors, 16 candidates were eliminated in the review round of the State Council of Professors.

The 16 candidates eliminated in the final round were all candidates for the title of Associate Professor.

This year, 27/28 majors have candidates for Professor and Associate Professor; this year, the Literature major has no candidates submitting applications. Calculating the total number of applications from 27 majors, 631/725 candidates were recommended by the Professor Councils of the majors to meet the recognition standards, of which, there are 45 Professor candidates and 586 Associate Professor candidates.
