Announcing the establishment of the Party Committee of the Defense Command of Region 4 of Phu Quoc Special Zone

On July 12, the Party Committee and Military Command of An Giang province held a conference to announce the decision to establish the Party Committee of the Defense Command of Phu Quoc Special Zone 4 and to hand over the decision to appoint officers of the Military Command of Phu Quoc Special Zone, Kien Hai, and Tho Chau.

The establishment of the Party Committee of the Defense Command of Phu Quoc Special Zone 4 aims to perfect the organization, strengthen combat strength, consolidate and enhance the comprehensive leadership role in Party building work, meeting the requirements of building a regular and modern army.

The conference announced and presented decisions to establish the Party Committee of the Defense Command of Phu Quoc Special Zone 4; and decisions to appoint the Party Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, members of the Inspection Committee, and Chairman of the Party Committee's Inspection Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Accordingly, Lieutenant Colonel Le Thanh Nhan, Political Commissar of the Defense Command of Phu Quoc Special Zone 4, was appointed to hold the position of Party Committee Secretary; Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Minh Duong, Commander of the Defense Command of Phu Quoc Special Zone 4, was appointed to hold the position of Deputy Party Committee Secretary; and Lieutenant Colonel Tran Quoc Trong, Deputy Political Commissar of the Defense Command of Phu Quoc Special Zone 4, was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Party Committee's Inspection Committee.

The conference announced and presented the decision of the Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province on the transfer and appointment of officers of the Military Command of Phu Quoc, Kien Hai and Tho Chau special zones. Accordingly, comrade Phan Vu Khanh holds the position of Commander of the Military Command of Kien Hai special zone; comrade Tran Hoang holds the position of Commander of the Military Command of Phu Quoc special zone; comrade Nguyen Dung Thanh holds the position of Commander of the Military Command of Tho Chau special zone.

Speaking at the conference, Colonel Huynh Van Khoi requested the Party Committee of the Defense Command of Phu Quoc Special Zone 4 to thoroughly grasp resolutions and directives at all levels in the coming time; strictly maintain all regimes, especially maintain strict combat readiness, coordinate with units to grasp the local situation, and fully prepare facilities for training in phase 2 in 2025.

Colonel Huynh Van Khoi requested each party member to further promote the results and achievements that have been achieved, uphold the spirit of responsibility, solidarity, and strive to perform assigned duties and tasks and other urgent tasks; strictly comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, the military's regulations, rules and regulations.
