Timely rescue of 16 year old girl jumping off Cua Viet bridge

(Dan Tri) - People in Quang Tri just saved a 16-year-old girl who jumped off a bridge. This girl is in a difficult situation, her father passed away 5 months ago.

On March 8, the Cua Viet Port Border Guard Station, under the Quang Tri Border Guard, informed that local people had promptly saved the life of a young girl who jumped off a bridge.

The victim was T. (16 years old, residing in Gio Linh district, Quang Tri). At around 10:30 a.m. the same day, T. went to Cua Viet bridge, in Cua Viet town, Gio Linh district and jumped into the river.

Fortunately, local people discovered it in time and shouted. A nearby fishing boat quickly approached and rescued the victim and brought him back to shore safely.

According to information, the victim comes from a poor family, his father passed away 5 months ago. Before committing the foolish act, he left a letter of apology to his family.
