According to CNBC news agency, former US President Donald Trump is expected to appear in Miami federal court at 3 p.m. on June 13 (local time) for his first appearance in the case of being accused of illegally retaining national security documents.

Donald Trump has declared his innocence and vowed to continue his campaign to regain the White House leadership position in the 2024 election. Trump's legal troubles are said to have not affected the credibility of Republican voters in him. A Reuters/Ipsos poll released on June 12 showed that 81% of Republicans believe the charges against Trump at this time are " politically motivated".

Before the trial, former US President Donald Trump posted on the social network Truth Social a statement that he would appoint a special prosecutor to investigate President Joe Biden's family if he was re-elected in the 2024 White House race.
