Da Nang has 2 projects awarded the Vietnam Science and Technology Innovation Award 2023

DNO - On the morning of May 17, the City's Union of Science and Technology Associations coordinated with units, departments, branches and sectors to organize the Closing and Awarding Ceremony of the 17th Technical Innovation Contest; 2023 Science and Technology Innovation Award; 19th Innovation Contest for Youth and Children of Da Nang City.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong acknowledged and commended the achievements of scientists, technical innovators, students and award-winning units at competitions, awards and contests; hoping that the award-winning authors will continue to innovate, improve, perfect their products, and expand their models. Thereby, applying them to production, creating a widespread spread in the community, serving production and life.

City leaders requested agencies, departments, branches, sectors and organizations to continue to pay attention, support and create favorable conditions for the award-winning authors to develop scientific and technological applications in production and life, bringing about efficiency in the coming time.

At the same time, agencies and units continue to actively participate in national and city-level awards, competitions and contests; guide individuals and groups with useful scientific and technical projects, topics, initiatives and solutions to participate.

The city will continue to pay attention, closely direct and create the best conditions for awards, competitions and contests to achieve many results; encourage people of all walks of life to promote initiatives, improve techniques and apply the results to production and life, contributing to the successful implementation of the goals and tasks of socio -economic development and the cause of industrialization and modernization of the city.

The report said that at the 17th National Technical Innovation Competition (2022-2023), Da Nang had 4 winning solutions, including: 2 Third prizes, 2 Encouragement prizes; it was evaluated as one of the localities that actively participated in the competition and achieved good results. At the City-level Technical Innovation Competition, there were 20 winning solutions including: 1 First prize, 9 Second prizes, 6 Third prizes and 4 Encouragement prizes.

For the 2023 Science and Technology Innovation Award, Da Nang has 2 awarded projects, including: "Research, design and manufacture of acacia wood peeling machine" by author Nguyen Tran Trung Hieu and colleagues of Chau Da LLC won the third prize; the project "Research on the application of high-performance concrete to produce precast components used in urban infrastructure" by author Mai Trieu Quang and colleagues of ECC Construction Investment and Consulting Joint Stock Company.

At the 19th National Creativity Competition for Youth and Children, Da Nang city had 3 winning solutions, including: 1 Second Prize, 1 Third Prize and 1 Encouragement Prize.

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee also launched the 18th Technical Innovation Contest; Vietnam Science and Technology Innovation Award 2024.
