Da Nang cooperates in developing digital technology with Binance

DNO - On September 24, within the framework of the Vietnamese Government's working visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Federal Republic of Germany, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City Pham Duc An signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with the global electronic exchange Binance.

The working delegation led by Politburo member and Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh worked with businesses: Bybit, Binance and Emaar.

Receiving representatives of Bybit Cryptocurrency Exchange, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh congratulated Bybit on its success as the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the UAE; and emphasized that developing a pilot legal framework for digital assets is an important task, asking the company to continue accompanying Vietnam in this process.

Bybit representatives welcomed Vietnam's direction on piloting digital assets and building an international financial center. Bybit affirmed its willingness to support the development of a legal framework, share international experiences and participate in training human resources for Vietnam.

Working with the global electronic exchange Binance, the Deputy Prime Minister expressed his wish that Binance open a headquarters in Da Nang and cooperate closely with the Vietnam International Financial Center in deploying a crypto asset exchange.

Binance CEO, former CEO of Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) Richard Ten agreed to share experiences and cooperate closely to develop the crypto asset market in Vietnam and develop an international financial center based on Abu Dhabi's experience.

On this occasion, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City Pham Duc An and Mr. Richard Ten, General Director of Binance signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in developing blockchain technology and digital assets between the City People's Committee and Binance.

At the meeting with representatives of Emaar Properties Group, the Permanent Deputy Prime Minister highly appreciated Emaar's international successes, emphasized that the Vietnam - UAE economic relationship is developing well, and affirmed that choosing to invest in Vietnam is the right decision for the enterprise.

The Vietnamese government encourages Emaar to participate in direct or indirect investment through the International Financial Center.

It is known that Emaar is the world's leading real estate group, present in 15 countries with many famous projects, such as the world's tallest tower Burj Khalifa and the global trade center Dubai Mall.
