On the morning of August 27, the functional forces of Muong Xen commune are making efforts to support households whose houses were hit by landslides.
Mr. Nguyen Ba Cuong - Vice Chairman of Muong Xen Commune People's Committee said that at around 10:00 p.m. on August 26, a landslide occurred in Hoa Son village.
A large rock rolled down from the mountain and hit the wall of Mr. Nguyen Viet Vuong's house in Hoa Son village, causing serious damage to the house and many properties.
Immediately after receiving the information, the commune leaders and the militia force of Hoa Son Village Management Board coordinated with other forces and people to support Mr. Vuong's family in urgently evacuating property and belongings out of the dangerous area.
Mr. Nguyen Viet Vuong is currently being treated for a serious illness in the hospital and no one is home. The evacuation was carried out promptly, limiting damage and ensuring the safety of people in the area.
Muong Xen Commune People's Committee is continuing to monitor the situation and directing functional forces to inspect and review the risks of landslides and rolling rocks to have response solutions, ensuring the safety of people's lives and property.
Also on August 26, in Chieu Luu commune, through Cu village, there was an incident of rocks rolling down the road, causing traffic congestion./.
