To become universities, schools need to ensure three conditions: be assessed by a legal accreditation organization to meet quality standards; have at least three schools and 10 doctoral training fields, the number of full-time students is over 15,000; and be approved by the direct management agency and investors.

Dr. Kieu Xuan Thuc, Principal of Hanoi University of Industry, said that developing into a university is an opportunity to innovate the structure and management system, focusing resources for effective development.
