Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Congress: Determined to help the province make a breakthrough in the new period

VTV.vn - After more than 2 days of urgent and serious work, the 1st Congress of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee was a great success, opening a new development period full of expectations.

The Congress was held at the Tuyen Quang Provincial Convention Center from September 22 to September 24, 2025, with 415 official delegates, representing nearly 136,000 Party members of the entire Party Committee. The Congress was honored to receive a congratulatory flower basket from General Secretary To Lam; the attention and direct guidance of Comrade Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

The Congress also welcomed delegations from the Central Committee, representatives of departments, ministries, branches, Military Region 2, leaders of some neighboring provinces and former leaders of the Provincial Party Committee through the periods.

The Congress assessed that in the 2020-2025 term, despite many difficulties, the province has achieved many important results: building a strong Party and political system; good economic growth; many advances in culture and society; improved people's lives; maintained national defense and security. In addition, the Congress frankly pointed out limitations and shortcomings and drew lessons for the next term.

The Congress unanimously passed the Resolution for the 2025-2030 term with the theme: "Promoting the tradition of the revolutionary homeland; continuing to improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization and Party members; developing the economy - society rapidly and sustainably, closely linked with maintaining national defense, security and foreign affairs; accompanying the whole country to firmly step forward in the era of national growth".

The general goal by 2030 is that Tuyen Quang will become a fairly developed, comprehensive, sustainable province with high average income; by 2045, it will be a developed, high-income province in the midland and mountainous region of the North.

The Congress set out 18 main targets for the 2025-2030 term, emphasizing a number of important goals: total regional product (GRDP) reaching 170,000 billion VND; GRDP per capita reaching 95 million VND; average growth rate in the 2026-2030 period reaching 10.5%/year; budget revenue reaching 12,000 billion VND; attracting 6 million tourists; forest cover rate remaining stable at 62.2%.

The Congress also identified social targets: reducing the poverty rate by an average of 3-4% per year; 100% of communes and wards have suitable cultural and sports facilities; the rate of trained workers reaches 72% or more, of which workers with degrees and certificates reach at least 30%.

The Congress also set out five key tasks, three strategic breakthroughs and eight main groups of solutions, emphasizing breakthroughs in institutional building, infrastructure and development of high-quality human resources.

The Congress announced the decisions of the Politburo and the Secretariat on the appointment of the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Comrade Hau A Lenh, member of the Party Central Committee, was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the new term. The delegation of Tuyen Quang province attending the 14th National Congress of the Party includes 35 official delegates and 4 alternate delegates.

In his closing speech at the Congress, Comrade Hau A Lenh, Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee, emphasized that the Congress was a great success, completing all the contents and programs set out. The Congress was honored to welcome Comrade Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, on behalf of the Politburo and the Secretariat, to attend and give directions and directions on key tasks for the Provincial Party Committee in the new term. This is the deep concern of the Party Central Committee for the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Tuyen Quang.

The Congress focused on democratic discussion, analyzing the achievements in the 2020-2025 term in all fields, frankly pointing out the limitations, weaknesses, causes and drawing many lessons. On that basis, the Congress passed a Resolution on the directions, goals, breakthroughs and key tasks of the 2025-2030 term, affirming the determination to build Tuyen Quang to develop rapidly, comprehensively and sustainably.

Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh affirmed that the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Term I, will unite, train qualities, improve mettle, intelligence, leadership capacity, and focus on successfully implementing the Congress Resolution. The goal by 2030 is for Tuyen Quang to become a fairly developed, comprehensive, sustainable province with high average income; by 2045, it will be a developed, high-income province in the midland and mountainous region of the North.

The success of the Congress, according to the Provincial Party Secretary, is the result of the close leadership of the Politburo and the Secretariat; the attention and support of central ministries and branches; and the dedicated and responsible contributions of the entire political system, cadres, party members and people of all ethnic groups in the province.

Immediately after the Congress, the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Term I, will quickly disseminate and disseminate the Resolution, develop specific action programs and launch emulation movements, turning the Resolution into practical revolutionary actions.

The Provincial Party Secretary called on the entire Party Committee, government, armed forces, business community and people of all ethnic groups in the province to unite, innovate, be creative, overcome difficulties and challenges, and be determined to successfully implement the Congress Resolution.

The 1st Congress of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, ended with new confidence, enthusiasm and expectations, opening a new path of prosperous and happy development for the revolutionary homeland.
