The 5th Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of Xuan Hoa Commune (Nhu Xuan)

On the afternoon of February 20, the Vietnam Youth Union (VYU) of Xuan Hoa commune (Nhu Xuan) successfully organized the 5th Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Youth Union of Xuan Hoa commune, term 2024-2029. This is a model congress directed by the Vietnam Youth Union of Nhu Xuan district to organize a grassroots congress.

Attending the congress were leaders of the District Youth Union, Vietnam Youth Union of Nhu Xuan district; leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Xuan Hoa commune, and 52 official delegates.

During the 2019-2024 term, the Vietnam Youth Union Committee of Xuan Hoa commune has proactively innovated propaganda methods so that young people can fully grasp information about the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; and promote the spirit of respect for the law.

The Association's Committee has mobilized members and young people to participate in volunteer activities for social security and environmental protection, which are increasingly going into depth. Typical examples include the movements "Green Sunday", "Volunteer Saturday", and activities to participate in building a "bright-green-clean-beautiful-safe" environmental landscape...

In addition, the Association Committee has stepped up coordination with sectors, unions, organizations and individuals inside and outside the district to organize social security activities such as the "Winter Volunteer" and "Spring Volunteer" programs... During the term, the Association Committee has helped build and repair 2 houses for policy families and families in difficult circumstances in the commune; mobilized more than 1,000 members and youth to participate in volunteer activities, responding to natural disasters and epidemics.

The work of political and ideological education, orientation of revolutionary ideals, and ethics and lifestyle for the youth has also achieved encouraging results. The majority of youth in the commune show national pride, love for their homeland and country, always believe in the leadership of the Party and State, actively contribute to the economic - cultural - social development and ensure political security - order and social safety in the area.

The Vietnam Youth Union Committee of Xuan Hoa commune, term V, was introduced to receive its tasks.

In the 2024-2029 term, the Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union of Xuan Hoa commune determined the goal: Building a generation of young people who are patriotic, compassionate, loyal, honest, pioneering, exemplary, united, diligent, and creative in patriotic emulation movements. Encouraging young people to compete in studying, starting a business, working, being creative, mastering modern science and technology, promoting good vanguard and volunteering in the cause of promoting industrialization, modernization and international integration. Constantly innovating the content and methods of operation, improving the quality of organization and operational efficiency of the Vietnam Youth Union.

At the Congress, delegates consulted and elected 11 delegates to the Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union of Xuan Hoa commune, term V, 2024-2029; delegate Vi Van Mai was consulted to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of Xuan Hoa commune, term V. The Congress consulted and elected 5 official delegates to attend the Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of Nhu Xuan district, term 2024-2029.

After the Congress, the Vietnam Youth Union of Nhu Xuan district held a meeting to draw experience to continue to well organize the congresses of the Youth Union at the grassroots level throughout the district in the coming time.
