On the morning of September 26, at the headquarters of the Ministry of National Defense , General Luong Cuong, Politburo member and Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, chaired the welcoming ceremony for the high-ranking political delegation of the Lao People's Army.

The high-ranking political delegation of the Lao People's Army (LPA) was led by Senior Lieutenant General Thongloi Silivong, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of National Defense, and Director of the General Department of Politics of the LPAA.

At the welcoming ceremony, General Luong Cuong and Senior Lieutenant General Thongloi Silivong saluted the flag and reviewed the honor guard of the Vietnam People's Army.
