Faced with increased travel demand during the September 2nd holiday, the Provincial People's Committee has issued a document requesting departments, branches and localities to strengthen the work of ensuring traffic order and safety during the September 2nd National Day holiday.

Accordingly, the Provincial Police are required to develop a plan and deploy a plan to organize, regulate, and reasonably divide traffic, and guide safe and smooth traffic, especially on National Highway 1, National Highway 9, Ho Chi Minh Road, etc., areas where traffic is forecast to increase during the National Day holiday on September 2. Arrange forces to clear and divide traffic when accidents and traffic jams occur.

Strengthen inspection to ensure safety of inland waterway traffic on routes from shore to Con Co Island, waterways, cross-river passenger wharves, and tourist boat ports; resolutely suspend operations of waterway passenger vehicles that violate safety conditions; absolutely prohibit waterway passenger transport during heavy rains and floods and when the weather has complicated developments.

The Department of Transport directs transport businesses to have plans to ensure capacity and quality of transport services, ensure traffic safety, especially passenger transport services by road and inland waterways during the National Day holiday on September 2, to well serve the travel needs of students entering the new school year.

Strengthen management of transportation activities right from the beginning of stations, yards, and terminals, limit congestion, delays, and cancellations; publicly post ticket prices according to routes, times, and service types; strictly control, prevent illegal ticket price increases, and resolutely not allow vehicles that do not meet safety conditions or vehicles that show signs of being overcrowded to leave the terminal.
