Attending the incense offering ceremony were comrades: Politburo member, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hanoi National Assembly Delegation Bui Thi Minh Hoai; Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong; Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Organization Committee of the City Party Committee Ha Minh Hai; Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Vu Thu Ha and representatives of leaders of the city's agencies and departments.
Comrade Tran Phu was born on May 1, 1904 in Tung Anh commune, Duc Tho district, Ha Tinh province, now Duc Tho commune, Ha Tinh province. Comrade Tran Phu was an excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh , a staunch revolutionary, an excellent son of the Party and the Vietnamese people.

In October 1930, at the Party Central Committee Conference, comrade Tran Phu was elected as the first General Secretary of the Party. In this important position, he laid the foundation for our country's revolutionary path, directly drafting the 1930 Political Platform - a historical document guiding the cause of fighting for national independence. The national relic house at 90 Tho Nhuom Street is where he drafted this important document.
On September 6, 1931 (July 24, Tan Mui year), at the A3 solitary confinement room, Cho Quan Hospital, Saigon (now Ho Chi Minh City), comrade Tran Phu heroically sacrificed himself. Before his death, comrade Tran Phu left behind an immortal call: "Keep up your fighting spirit". That sacred last words became an order to encourage revolutionary generations, arousing faith and fostering a strong will in the cause of national liberation struggle.
Comrade Tran Phu's short but great life and revolutionary career left a deep mark in the history of the Party and the nation. His example of loyalty, indomitable spirit and steadfast will became an immortal symbol, illuminating the revolutionary cause, building and defending the Fatherland today.
In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, Hanoi city leaders offered incense to commemorate comrade Tran Phu, expressing deep gratitude and remembering his great contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and nation.
On this occasion, the Hanoi City Delegation visited the National Monument of House No. 90 Tho Nhuom Street, listened to an introduction about the life, career and artifacts associated with the glorious revolutionary life of the first General Secretary of our Party.
