The Party Committee of Military Region 4 successfully completed its tasks in the first 6 months of 2025.

On the morning of July 9, under the chairmanship of Major General Doan Xuan Buong, Party Secretary, Political Commissar of the Military Region, the Party Committee of Military Region 4 held a conference to issue a resolution on leadership in implementing military and defense tasks (QS, QP) and Party building in the last 6 months of 2025.

Attending the conference were Lieutenant General Ha Tho Binh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Commander of Military Region 4; Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Military Party Committee of Quang Tri Province Le Ngoc Quang and leaders of provinces and cities under Military Region 4.

In the first 6 months of the year, despite many difficulties, under the leadership and direction of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense , with high responsibility and determination, the Party Committee and Command of Military Region 4 closely coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to focus on leading and directing the successful completion of military and defense tasks and Party building. Many tasks were completed excellently, which were recognized and highly appreciated by the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense.

Speaking at the conference, Quang Tri Provincial Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang informed about the results of the province's military and defense work in the first 6 months of 2025. Provincial Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang also proposed a number of key tasks, which are to continue to effectively implement military and defense work, build a strong national defense, and a solid defense zone.

Leaders build comprehensively strong agencies and units that are "Exemplary and typical"; effectively apply science, technology, innovation and digital transformation; improve the overall quality, level and combat readiness of the provincial armed forces; promptly respond to traditional and non-traditional security challenges, avoiding passivity and surprise.

The province will also direct the preparation of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; the 80th anniversary of the tradition of the Military Region 4 (October 15, 1945 - October 15, 2025); focus on leading and directing the preparation of the Provincial Military Party Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term, towards the Provincial Party Congress and the 14th National Party Congress.

Quang Tri province hopes to continue to receive the attention, leadership, direction, guidance and timely and effective support of the Party Committee Standing Committee and the Military Region 4 Command, especially in closely combining socio-economic development with strengthening national defense and security, firmly protecting the sovereignty of borders and islands, as well as the increasingly close coordination of the provinces in the Military Region.

Concluding the conference, Major General Doan Xuan Buong emphasized: In the last 6 months of the year, many important events will take place. The Party Committee of Military Region 4 will concretize the implementation of the resolutions of the Party's "four pillars" and "3 focuses" and "3 drastic measures" under the direction of General Secretary To Lam.

Party committees and commanders at all levels continue to direct agencies and units to strictly maintain discipline and combat readiness regimes; coordinate leadership and direction in implementing local military and defense tasks; review and supplement defense planning and arrangements, and build defense works in defense areas in conjunction with socio-economic development strategies in accordance with the determination and combat plans of local authorities at two levels.

Build, deploy activities and training of regional defense commands and border guard commands; arrange and allocate working headquarters for commune-level military commands; carry out military recruitment in 2026 according to the quota and with good quality. Build the Military Region's armed forces strong in politics, ideology, organization, ethics and cadres. The focus is on leading the successful organization of the 12th Military Region 4 Party Congress and celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Military Region 4's Armed Forces' Traditional Day (October 15, 1945 - October 15, 2025).
