According to the leader of the Traffic and Agriculture Project Management Board No. 1 (Bac Ninh), the board has just submitted a document deciding on the investment policy for the project of the road connecting the two industrial parks of Quang Chau and Van Trung - the workplace of about 190,000 workers in the area.

The starting point of the route intersects with Vo Van Kiet Street, the end point intersects with DT398 in Nenh Ward ( Bac Ninh ).

It is expected that the total investment will be nearly 1,000 billion VND from the state budget, of which compensation, support and resettlement costs account for the majority. Implementation period is 2026 - 2029.

Regarding the impact, the leader of the Management Board of Traffic and Agriculture Project No. 1 (Bac Ninh) stated that the project will contribute to the development of the province's urban system towards the goal of becoming a centrally-run city before 2030 as well as the transportation needs of workers and surrounding residents.

In particular, the above connecting road overcomes traffic congestion on the Hanoi - Bac Giang expressway, DT398, QL37.

The project also meets the transportation needs for production in industrial zones and clusters; supports fire prevention and fighting activities, maintains security and order; strengthens national defense...

Previously, Tuoi Tre Online had reported many times the situation of workers jostling each other on the service road in the early morning hours at the expressway service road at the two industrial parks of Quang Chau and Van Trung.

According to the images posted by readers, the feeder road near Quang Chau Industrial Park has been horribly congested for many days. Thousands of motorbikes, cars, buses, and heavy trucks are inching their way on the road.

Traffic congestion causes frustration for businesses, workers and people.

In July 2025, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province gave its opinion on resolving traffic congestion at Quang Chau Industrial Park after a request from Hong Hai Science and Technology Group (Foxconn) - one of the partners of Apple Technology Group.

Specifically, Vice Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Pham Van Thinh assigned the Department of Construction of Bac Ninh province to study a plan to supplement the traffic light system, signs, and road markings at the entrances and exits of overpasses and industrial park gateways.

Install additional signs prohibiting construction vehicles and container trucks during rush hours, and prohibit street vending on the roadside in industrial parks and nearby service roads. Plan pick-up and drop-off points and areas for spontaneous worker transport vehicles.

Mr. Thinh also assigned the Management Board of Industrial Parks of Bac Ninh province to study and propose allowing Fukang Technology Company to open two additional pedestrian gates connecting to internal roads in the industrial park.

Bac Ninh Provincial Police are responsible for directing the traffic police force and Nenh Ward Police to increase their on-duty presence, traffic flow during rush hours, and install additional surveillance camera systems at underpasses to have a basis for handling violations (increasing fines).
