The draft amendment to the policy on tuition and living expenses support for pedagogical students states that the support level is 3.63 million VND/month to cover living expenses during their time studying at school.

From the second year and the following years, pedagogical students with a poor average academic score and a poor training score will not be considered for support to cover living expenses. Teacher training institutions will consider supporting living expenses for pedagogical students according to the academic year.
For pedagogical students who are required to reimburse the funds (who have enjoyed the policy but do not work in the education sector after 2 years from the date of the graduation recognition decision; do not have enough working time; are in training but transfer to another sector) the supported funds will be recovered.
