The Management Board of Economic Zones (EZs) and Industrial Parks (IPs) of Khanh Hoa province has just organized a dialogue with IP and EZ infrastructure investors with the theme “Investment Connection - Sustainable Development”. The event aims to remove difficulties, listen to opinions from the business community and open up new cooperation opportunities.

Mr. Tran Minh Chien, Head of the Management Board of Economic Zones and Industrial Parks of Khanh Hoa province, said that established in 2006 with a scale of 150,000 hectares (70,000 hectares of land and 80,000 hectares of water surface), Van Phong Economic Zone plays a strategic role in the socio-economic development of Khanh Hoa province.

Van Phong Economic Zone is oriented to become a multi-sector economic center, with marine economy as the foundation, linked with international transit ports, logistics, industry, urban areas and tourism . Up to now, 19 functional zoning plans have been implemented, of which 11 have been completed.

In addition to Van Phong Economic Zone, Khanh Hoa also plans 18 industrial parks by 2030 with an area of over 6,122 hectares, of which 7 have been established and many have achieved high occupancy rates such as Suoi Dau, Thanh Hai, Ninh Thuy.

In the first 9 months of 2025 alone, economic zones and industrial parks in the area attracted 17 new projects with a total registered capital of more than 76,800 billion VND.

Of which, the industrial parks received 12 projects with a capital of more than VND 11,269 billion - 3 times higher than the same period in 2024. Total revenue of the whole system reached VND 46,584 billion, export turnover was over VND 16,000 billion, contributing VND 1,843 billion to the budget and creating jobs for nearly 39,000 workers.

At the event, a number of businesses also proposed to implement large projects towards green and sustainable development such as the 300-hectare ecological industrial park in North Hon Heo, or the LNG port warehouse project of more than 350 hectares in South Van Phong. In addition, the issue of training and supplying high-quality labor continued to receive attention to meet the increasing demand from FDI projects.

Khanh Hoa Province Economic Zone and Industrial Park Management Board said it will fully publicize investment incentive policies on the electronic information portal and accompany businesses throughout the entire project implementation process.

Mr. Chien said that the Board has established a specialized working group to support investors according to the mechanism of "one door - one contact - one time commitment".

The agency also issued a set of project priority criteria, extending the maximum operating period to 70 years, with the goal of each decision being issued faster, each project being implemented sooner and more new jobs being created.
