On August 24, the Department of Training, Ministry of Public Security officially announced the admission scores to the People's Public Security academies and universities in 2023. This year, the Party Building and State Administration major of the People's Public Security Political Academy has the highest admission score.

Admission scores to People's Public Security academies and universities in 2023 are specifically as follows:

Admission standards of public security schools, figure 1
Admission standards of public security schools, figure 2
Admission standards of public security schools, figure 3

The Department of Training noted that the admission score is the total score of 3 subjects in the admission combination to the People's Police Academy (accounting for 40%) and the score of the Ministry of Public Security's admission assessment test converted to a 30-point scale (accounting for 60%) rounded to 2 decimal places plus regional priority points, subject priority points according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training , and bonus points according to the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security.

The calculation formula is as follows: DXT = (M1+M2+M3)*2/5 + BTBCA*3/5 + DC, in which: + DXT: admission score; + M1, M2, M3: scores of 3 subjects in the subject group for admission to the People's Police Academy; + BTBCA: assessment test score of the Ministry of Public Security; + DC: Bonus points.

The candidate's bonus points are determined by the sum of the priority points according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the bonus points prescribed by the Ministry of Public Security, according to the formula: DC = DUT + Dth. In which, DUT = DT + KV. Specifically: + DC is the bonus point; + DUT is the priority point; + DT is the priority point for the subject; + KV is the regional point; + Dth is the bonus point.

In 2023, the total enrollment target for new regular university students in police academies and schools is 2,000; the enrollment target for intermediate police training is nearly 1,200.

Admission methods to police academies and schools in 2023 remain stable as in 2022 with 3 methods.

Method 1: Direct admission according to current admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and regulations of the Ministry of Public Security.

Method 2: Direct admission combining international language certificates with high school academic results.

Method 3: Admission is based on a combination of high school graduation exam results and the assessment test results of the Ministry of Public Security. In which, the assessment test score of the Ministry of Public Security accounts for 60% of the admission score and the combined score of the high school exam accounts for 40% of the admission score.
