The floor score of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law and Economics fluctuates between 20-24

Ho Chi Minh City University of Law accepts applications from candidates with 20-24 points, while Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics takes the floor score of 20 for all training majors.

On the afternoon of July 24, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law (ULAW) announced that the admission score from the graduation exam score ranges from 20 to 24. This is the total score of three subjects in the admission combination, including priority points.

In which, the Law major considers the C00 block combination (Literature, History, Geography) to be the highest. Candidates must achieve an average of 8 points or more for each subject, if there is no priority score. For other admission blocks, this major takes the minimum score of 20 points.

International Commercial Law has the second highest minimum score of 23 points in all admission combinations. Business Administration has a minimum score of 21. The remaining majors all have a minimum score of 20 points.

This year, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law enrolls 2,100 students. At the end of June, the school announced the benchmark for early admission. With the combined assessment method of high school transcripts and IELTS (or TOEFL), the International Commercial Law major has the highest benchmark. If a candidate has an average GPA of 22.5, he/she must have an IELTS score of 7.5 to be admitted. If the GPA is 28, the candidate only needs an IELTS score of 7.0.

With the priority admission method for students based on academic records, the standard score for the International Commercial Law major is also the highest, 28 and 24.5 points respectively depending on the average score of the three-year academic records or the average score of three subjects in the group in 5 semesters.

In addition to the two admission methods mentioned above, the school also considers admission based on high school graduation exam scores with 60% of the target. The benchmark scores will be announced before 5 p.m. on August 22. Last year, the benchmark scores based on the graduation exam results of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law ranged from 22.5 to 28.5.

Today, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics (UEH) also announced the minimum admission score. All majors and training programs in Ho Chi Minh City have the same minimum score of 20 points. The training programs at the Vinh Long branch of the school accept applications from 16 points.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics recruits 7,650 students for the Ho Chi Minh City campus and 600 for the Vinh Long campus with 6 admission methods. The school has announced the admission scores in three methods, including considering excellent students, learning results according to subject combinations (transcripts) and based on the Ho Chi Minh City National University's capacity assessment test scores.

Accordingly, the benchmark scores of 51 training programs in Ho Chi Minh City range from 47-77 for the method of considering excellent students and academic records; 800-985/1,200 for the method of considering competency assessment scores. Logistics and Supply Chain Management have the highest benchmark scores in all three methods.

In addition, the school also considers direct admission, considers candidates who have graduated from foreign high school programs and have international certificates, and considers high school graduation exam scores. Last year, the standard score based on the graduation exam score of UEH fluctuated from 23.6 to 27.8 at the Ho Chi Minh City campus, and 16 to 17 at the Vinh Long campus.
