On August 19, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics (UEH) informed about the University Council (UCC) for the 2025-2030 term that has just been recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training .
The Minister of Education and Training signed a decision to recognize the Executive Board of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics for the 2025-2030 term with 27 members and the decision to recognize Professor Dr. Nguyen Khac Quoc Bao, Party Committee Secretary, to hold the position of Chairman of the Executive Board for the 2025-2030 term.
Professor Nguyen Khac Quoc Bao
Professor Nguyen Khac Quoc Bao was born in 1979, from Hanoi, has a PhD in Economics, Finance - Banking; in 2015 he was awarded the title of Associate Professor, in 2023 he was awarded the title of Professor. Up to now, Mr. Bao has more than 20 years of experience in teaching, scientific research and university education management.
Before being elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics for the 2025-2030 term, Mr. Bao held many positions such as: Head of Finance Department (2016); Head of Training Department (2020); Vice Principal of the School of Technology and Design, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics (2021); Vice Principal and then Vice Director of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics (2022).
In June 2025, at the Party Congress of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics for the 2025-2030 term, Professor Nguyen Khac Quoc Bao was elected as Party Committee Secretary.
