The People's Committee of Quang Ngai province has just approved a partial adjustment to the Master Plan for Construction of Quang Ngai City until 2040. Accordingly, the province has partially adjusted a land area of ​​about 4 hectares in Tinh An commune from residential land to urban public service land.

Specific land use criteria include a maximum construction density of 60%; a maximum height of 15 floors above ground, 2 basements, a maximum building height of 55m; a maximum land use coefficient of 12 times; the construction boundary of the land plot must comply with the provisions of the National Technical Regulation on Construction Planning QCVN 01:2021/BXD of the Ministry of Construction .

The People's Committee of Quang Ngai province requests the People's Committee of Quang Ngai city to update the adjusted contents in the Master Plan for construction of Quang Ngai city until 2040, organize the announcement and publicize it so that organizations and individuals know, monitor and implement it; review and adjust other related planning projects to ensure consistency and synchronization between the plans; coordinate with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to complete the dossier to adjust the Land Use Plan of Quang Ngai city to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for approval according to regulations.

The Department of Construction is responsible for performing the state management function of basic construction work, implementing urban planning and architecture according to its authority.

Previously, the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province adjusted the Master Plan for the construction of Quang Ngai City until 2040 in Decision No. 949/QD-UBND dated October 11, 2021. Accordingly, the planning scope includes the entire natural area of ​​Quang Ngai city, more than 15,734 hectares.

The project to adjust the General Planning of Quang Ngai City to 2040 is a provincial city, the political - economic, cultural - social and scientific and technical center of Quang Ngai province; a riverside urban area, facing the sea - one of the urban areas with development potential in the coastal urban strip of Central Vietnam; one of the economic centers of the Central region in terms of trade, services, tourism, processing and manufacturing industry and especially an important rear in the development process of Dung Quat Economic Zone; an important traffic hub of the Central region and the Central Highlands.

Regarding the principles of spatial planning, Quang Ngai province orients this adjusted planning to respect and protect the natural ecosystem, the natural landscape of hills, rivers, coastal strips, etc. of Quang Ngai City; develop new, synchronous and modern urban areas combined with the renovation and embellishment of existing residential areas, synchronously connecting with the existing infrastructure system and projects that have been and are being implemented in the area; form urban axes, landscape axes and key focal spaces, ensuring harmonious connection with the surrounding space, etc.
