Besides, in the first days, many agencies are arranging and assigning work and some officials and civil servants use personal vehicles for convenience instead of taking shuttle buses.
At the press conference, Mr. Bui Trung Kien, Deputy General Director of Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation (EVNHCMC) said that from July 1, EVNHCMC will take over and manage two power companies in Binh Duong (old) and Ba Ria - Vung Tau (old).
These two power companies will be units under EVNHCMC instead of Southern Power Corporation.
EVNHCMC is the provider of electricity services and customer care for all electricity customers in the new Ho Chi Minh City area.
In addition, implementing the policy of restructuring and streamlining the apparatus of Vietnam Electricity Group, EVNHCMC reorganized the power companies, so the service area and customer care for electricity users in the old Ho Chi Minh City area also changed.
To facilitate customers in Ho Chi Minh City in communicating with the electricity industry and for EVNHCMC to serve customers in using electricity in the best way, for customers in Binh Duong (old) and Ba Ria - Vung Tau (old) areas, there will be a change in the contact point for receiving requests and resolving services from Southern Power Corporation to EVNHCMC.
To send requests and look up electricity usage information, electricity customers in Binh Duong (old) and Ba Ria - Vung Tau (old) areas install the EVNHCMC application on their mobile devices at https://cskh.evnhcmc.vn/ungdungcskh.html and link their current customer code to use.
When paying electricity bills, customers using electricity in Binh Duong (old) and Ba Ria - Vung Tau (old) areas need to note to do so through EVNHCMC's information portal.
In addition, customers who have registered for payment by automatic debit and payment authorization need to contact the bank to change the old electricity payment account number information to the new account number of EVNHCMC.
In the old Ho Chi Minh City area, after streamlining the power companies, customers using electricity in Nha Be and Can Gio districts (old) pay their electricity bills through the account number of Tan Thuan Power Company; customers in Districts 10, Phu Nhuan and Tan Binh (old) pay their electricity bills through the account number of Saigon Power Company; customers in Districts 11 and Tan Phu (old) pay their electricity bills through the account number of Cho Lon Power Company; customers in Go Vap district (old) pay their electricity bills through the account number of Gia Dinh Power Company.
