Duong Trach Communal House worships Saint Chu Dong Tu and his two wives, Princess Tien Dung and Princess Tay Sa, during the reign of the 18th Hung King. The communal house was built early, restored and embellished during the Nguyen Dynasty. Today, Duong Trach Communal House has a T-shaped overall layout including 5 main halls and 2 rear halls. The architectural components are made entirely from a group of four-piece wood that is still uniform and durable with many beautiful carvings, bearing the architectural and artistic style of the Nguyen Dynasty. Presently, the communal house still preserves a number of valuable relics such as: royal decrees, sacred relics, large inscriptions, parallel sentences, thrones and tablets, palanquins, etc.

Every year, Duong Trach communal house festival is held from February 6 to 8 (Lunar calendar). The activities in the festival take place solemnly, joyfully, excitingly and become a typical annual cultural festival of the locality.

Being ranked as a National Architectural and Artistic Relic not only affirms the unique historical, cultural and religious values of Duong Trach communal house but also contributes significantly to the work of preserving and promoting heritage values.
