Delegation of Press Management officials of Lao PDR visited and exchanged experiences at Thanh Hoa Newspaper

On the morning of October 8, Thanh Hoa Newspaper welcomed a delegation of officials from the Academy of Journalism and Communication (AJC) and press management officials from the Lao PDR to visit and exchange experiences at Thanh Hoa Newspaper.

The delegation included Mr. Olam Chan Tha Vi Lay, Head of the Lao National Radio Station, and members from many central and local press agencies of the Lao PDR. On the side of the Academy of Journalism and Communication, there was Ms. Dinh Thi Thu Hang, Deputy Director of the Institute of Journalism and Communication.

At the experience exchange session, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Thanh Hoa Newspaper Hoang Anh Tuan gave an overview of the functions, tasks, organization and operations of Thanh Hoa Newspaper in recent times, emphasizing: In recent years, Thanh Hoa Newspaper has focused on restructuring the organization to operate a converged newsroom model. In which, print newspapers are the foundation, electronic newspapers are the spearhead, maximizing the strengths of each type of journalism.

Currently, Thanh Hoa Newspaper has 5 publications, including 3 print publications and 2 electronic publications: Thanh Hoa Daily; Thanh Hoa Monthly; Thanh Hoa Weekend; Thanh Hoa Electronic and Electronic Culture and Life Page.

In addition, Thanh Hoa Newspaper also manages 4 promotional channels on social networking platforms Facebook, Zalo, Youtube, Tiktok.

Thanh Hoa Electronic Newspaper has a high and stable number of readers, and is among the top local Party newspapers with a high number of readers.

The Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Thanh Hoa Newspaper introduced to the members of the delegation the way to operate and manage Thanh Hoa Newspaper according to modern journalism trends; discussed strong innovation, improving the quality of publications, meeting the requirements of information and propaganda work... with the goal of making Thanh Hoa Newspaper become the main multimedia media agency of Thanh Hoa province.
