On the afternoon of January 17, a working delegation from Mondulkiri province, Kingdom of Cambodia, led by Mr. Lun Sopheap, Deputy Governor of Mondulkiri province, visited and wished Vietnamese people a happy traditional New Year 2025.
Welcoming the delegation were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thien Van; representatives of relevant departments, branches and units.

At the meeting, the Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Dak Lak province informed about the results of the province's socio -economic development; the direction of cooperation with the Kingdom of Cambodia in general and Mondulkiri province in particular in the coming time.

Accordingly, in 2024, the province's socio-economic situation will continue to develop. Total social product is estimated at 63,356 billion VND, up 5.08%. Total social investment capital mobilization is 36,990 billion VND, up 4.02%. Export turnover is over 1.8 billion USD, up 23.86%. Average income per capita is 73 million VND/person.

Speaking at the reception, Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thien Van affirmed that, promoting the tradition of "good neighbors, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, long-term sustainability", with the efforts of all parties, the cooperation between Dak Lak province and Mondulkiri province has been and continues to achieve encouraging results, contributing positively to consolidating and developing the traditional friendship, solidarity and cooperation between Vietnam and the Kingdom of Cambodia.
