The Temple of Heroes and Martyrs of the Vi Xuyen Front is located on Hill 468, nearly 1 km from the Vietnam - China border, where our soldiers fought with the enemy for every mountain and made many sacrifices to protect the Fatherland during the period 1979 - 1989.
From 1979 to 1989, over 4,100 soldiers died on the Vi Xuyen battlefield. At the Vi Xuyen Front Heroes and Martyrs Temple, there is a memorial house located on the cliff, formerly the 468 peak. From this area, one can clearly see the 772 and 685 peaks and the Vietnam-China border demarcation point. On the anniversary of the fiercest battle with the most sacrifices and losses (July 12) and every July 27, many delegations come to offer incense to commemorate the heroes and martyrs.
The temple has become a regular place for educational activities about the source and patriotic revolutionary traditions for the younger generations.
