Ho Chi Minh City student brass band performs to celebrate National Day in the heart of the capital

In the joyful atmosphere towards the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2, on the morning of August 31, the student brass band of Vo Thanh Trang Secondary School (Ho Chi Minh City) - Vietnam Marching Band, had a bustling and emotional performance at the King Ly Thai To Monument area (Hoan Kiem, Hanoi).

After the performance, the group continued to march around the lake and ended the program at the Monument of the Martyrs for the Fatherland. This is one of the community art activities within the framework of the National Achievement Exhibition with the theme "80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness".

In the sacred space of Hoan Kiem Lake - a place associated with a thousand years of history of Thang Long - Hanoi, the sound of brass trumpets resounded loudly, arousing the pride and emotion of the capital's public.

The students brought many special performances, from heroic revolutionary music, familiar folk melodies, to modern, youthful, energetic works. The music not only made the footsteps of thousands of spectators bustling, but also contributed to creating a close, cohesive atmosphere between school art and the community.

This is the first time 100 students aged 11-15 from Vo Thanh Trang Secondary School have had the opportunity to perform in the center of the capital, right next to the statue of King Ly Thai To. For them, it is a priceless experience, both showing off their artistic talents and living in a sacred cultural and historical space, right on the occasion of the whole country celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day.

The performance left many lingering emotions. Music became a bridge between the past and the present, both a tribute to the generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed for national independence and a reminder to today's young generation of their responsibility to preserve and promote tradition.
