On the afternoon of January 28 (the 29th afternoon of the Lunar New Year), Comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, visited, extended New Year greetings, inspected and directed the implementation of tasks before, during and after the Lunar New Year 2025 at Tran Lam ward ( Thai Binh city) and Thai Binh Children's Hospital.

Since January 24, Tran Lam ward has completed the organization of giving Tet gifts to policy families and poor and near-poor households in a timely and thoughtful manner. In particular, the ward has done a good job of socialization and resource mobilization, so this year, poor and near-poor households in the ward have received 2 or more gifts per household. In addition to poor and near-poor households, the ward has given 215 gifts, worth 500,000 VND per gift or more, to children and households in difficult circumstances and accidents. The ward has signed a commitment with 98.4% of households to strictly implement Law No. 42 and Decree No. 137 on the management of weapons, explosives, support tools and fireworks and to ensure security and order during Tet. By the afternoon of the 29th of Tet, the ward had nearly 900 households registered to set off fireworks of the Ministry of National Defense on New Year's Eve. In the ward, there is 1 low-altitude fireworks display site. From 6 p.m. on the 29th of Tet, Tran Lam ward mobilized 100% of cadres, civil servants, heads of branches, unions, officers and soldiers of the ward police to go on duty to reinforce residential groups to organize people to celebrate Tet and ensure security and order on New Year's Eve.

Giving gifts and encouraging cadres, people and forces on duty during Tet, the Provincial Party Secretary acknowledged and highly appreciated the initiative of Tran Lam ward in implementing political tasks, especially ensuring security and order.
He requested the Party Committee and People's Committee of Tran Lam Ward to pay special attention to leading, directing, and implementing well the work of ensuring security and order on New Year's Eve, including propagating and mobilizing people to strictly comply with the provisions of the law on the management and use of fireworks, weapons, explosives, and supporting tools. The Ward proactively arranged forces to guide, clear, and prevent traffic jams on New Year's Eve at a number of key routes and intersections. Residential groups and functional forces propagated to raise people's vigilance to prevent and fight against all kinds of crimes that take advantage of activities during the New Year. Immediately after celebrating the traditional New Year, Tran Lam Ward proactively deployed spring crop production tasks, military recruitment, and preparations for organizing party congresses at all levels...
On the occasion of welcoming the Spring of At Ty 2025 and the traditional New Year of the nation, the Provincial Party Secretary sent New Year greetings of peace and prosperity to cadres, party members and people of Tran Lam ward.
By the morning of the 29th of Tet, Thai Binh Children's Hospital had more than 300 patients, however, the hospital's staff and doctors actively examined, checked, screened, consulted, and prescribed medicine for more than 100 children who were discharged to celebrate Tet with their families. By the evening of the 29th of Tet, there were 207 seriously ill patients who had to continue treatment and would celebrate New Year's Eve at the hospital. During New Year's Eve and the 2025 Lunar New Year holidays, the Children's Hospital assigned rotating shifts, each of which consisted of 78 staff and doctors from departments and rooms, ensuring readiness to respond promptly to incidents and emergency situations.

Sharing the hardships of the staff and doctors due to the nature of their jobs requiring them to be on duty during Tet, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the staff and doctors of the Hospital to continue to uphold their sense of responsibility, carry out the sacred mission of a physician, focus on providing the best treatment, and give the most attentive and thoughtful care to pediatric patients during Tet. The Hospital organized joyful activities to welcome Tet so that pediatric patients and their relatives could have a warm New Year's Eve right at the Hospital. The Hospital Board of Directors paid attention and encouraged the staff and doctors on duty during Tet.
