On the morning of December 19, comrade Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council met with voters of Thai Binh city after the seventh session of the 17th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026.

Delegates of Thai Binh Provincial People's Council and Thai Binh City People's Council attended the conference.

Attending the conference were comrade Hoang Van Thanh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council; delegates of the Provincial People's Council and Thai Binh City People's Council.

Comrade Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council spoke at the conference.

At the meeting, voters of 11 wards and communes of the city including De Tham, Le Hong Phong, Ky Ba, Bo Xuyen, Tran Hung Dao, Tien Phong, Phu Khanh, Quang Trung, Phu Xuan, Tan Binh, and Vu Phuc listened to representatives of the Provincial People's Council and City People's Council report on the results of the seventh session.

City voters expressed their joy and excitement at the results of the Provincial and City People's Council meetings, the socio -economic development results in 2023, the appropriate and realistic goals, tasks and solutions set out in 2024; highly appreciated the innovation in organizing and conducting the People's Council meetings, especially the question and answer session.

City voters also recommended that relevant levels, sectors and units continue to invest in infrastructure construction and urban management; survey and plan the construction of cultural houses in residential areas; ensure urban environmental sanitation; speed up the progress of apartment housing projects; and grant land use right certificates to people in a number of urban areas in the area.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council respectfully thanked and accepted the voters' opinions, and assigned the City People's Committee to consider and resolve them. He gave an overview of the outstanding results achieved by the province in 2023; affirming that these results were the result of great efforts by all levels, sectors and people of all walks of life in the province, including the city.

Regarding the tasks in the coming time, he requested that Party committees, authorities at all levels, voters and people of the city continue to join hands to effectively implement resolutions of Party congresses at all levels, resolutions of the Provincial People's Council and the City People's Council that have been issued. All resources should be mobilized to build and develop Thai Binh city to soon become a class I city under the province. The city needs to continue to pay attention to building a clean and strong Party and political system; promote administrative reform; improve public service ethics; pay attention to resolving the legitimate aspirations of the people and the difficulties and problems of businesses; and continue to rectify the situation of extra teaching and learning.
