On September 9, in Phong Dien ward, Hue city, the Vietnam Center for Conservation of Natural Resources and Phong Dien Animal and Plant Rescue, the Vietnam Museum of Nature under the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology held the opening ceremony of the "Natural History Exhibition Room".
At the opening ceremony, Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong affirmed that the project is an important milestone in scientific research, museum and nature conservation of the Vietnam Museum of Nature in the Central region and Hue.
This is also a new tourist attraction, contributing to diversifying tourism products, adding to the heritage system of the ancient capital of Hue.
Tourists coming to Hue will have another attractive address to explore the development process of the world's and Vietnam's natural history, contributing to highlighting Hue's position as the cultural, tourism, scientific and technological center of the whole country.
The “Natural History Exhibition Room” was invested in construction and put into operation in phase 1 with an area of 16.8 hectares; phase 2 is expected to expand to 158.2 hectares.

The project is arranged into 9 exhibition areas including: History of life on earth, minerals, insect specimens, plants, animals, large reptile groups, birds, marine life and anthropology.
Not only displaying specimens, this place is also considered a "living book" about the history of the development of the earth, vividly recreating the evolutionary process of life through fossils, minerals, flora and fauna and marine life.
The exhibition room is scientifically designed, lively, meets high standards, and serves education and training.
This is also an ideal destination for students to learn about biodiversity and natural history of Vietnam, contributing to raising awareness of nature conservation, biodiversity and sustainable development./.
