At the end of September, the terraced fields in Mu Cang Chai begin to turn yellow, marking the beginning of the ripe rice season. This is also the time of year when the most tourists visit Mu Cang Chai.
According to Tuoi Tre Online , on the afternoon of September 20, thousands of tourists were present at the raspberry and horse-shoe hills (Mu Cang Chai, Lao Cai ) - great spots to check-in during the ripe rice season.
In the mountains and forests of the Northwest, each field is stacked on top of each other like steps, captivating visitors. Growing rice on terraced fields is a farming method of the local Mong ethnic group.

With the development of tourism , the terraced fields are not only a place to grow rice and paddy, but also help people improve their lives by welcoming tourists from all over.
Last year's rice harvest season took place at the same time as Typhoon Yagi caused heavy rain and landslides in many areas in the Northwest and Northeast, so the number of visitors coming to see the ripe rice was not high.
This year, the cool, sunny autumn weather creates favorable conditions for domestic and foreign tourists to admire the majestic terraced fields in the midst of the ripe rice season.
