480 flights expected to arrive in Da Nang on September 2nd holiday

DNVN - On the afternoon of August 27, the Da Nang Department of Tourism announced that there are expected to be nearly 490 international and domestic flights to the city during the 4-day National Day holiday in 2024. The average hotel room occupancy rate in the area is estimated to reach 50-55%.

According to the Da Nang Department of Tourism, on the occasion of National Day 2024, people will have 4 days off, from August 31 to September 2, equivalent to 2023. Tourists tend to choose nearby destinations at home and abroad, especially foreign tours from 3 to 5 days are very popular.

According to information compiled by airlines, the total number of international and domestic flights to Da Nang during the upcoming 4-day September 2 holiday is estimated to be 484 (an average of 120 flights/day). Of which, there are 203 international flights (an average of 50 flights/day) and 281 domestic flights (an average of 70 flights/day).

The Da Nang Department of Tourism also said that according to information from the Da Nang Railway Transport Branch, during this year's National Day holiday, the total number of visitors to the Han River City by rail is expected to be nearly 5,800, an increase of 25% over the same period last year (in 2023 there were 4,600 visitors).

The average hotel room occupancy rate in the area is estimated at 50 - 55%; of which 4 - 5 star and equivalent tourist accommodation establishments are estimated at 55 - 65%; 3 star or lower tourist accommodation establishments are estimated at 35 - 45%. The highest concentration of guests is on September 1 and 2, mainly at coastal establishments and some 4 - 5 star hotels in the city center, individual guests account for 60 - 70%.

The Da Nang Department of Tourism has issued a document requesting tourism service businesses to ensure service for tourists during the National Day holiday; requesting the People's Committees of districts to ensure security, safety, rescue and search and rescue at tourist sites and tourist service establishments in the area; requesting the Department of Education and Training, schools, etc. to support propaganda for students, students, and people about the rules, regulations and recommendations to know when swimming at Da Nang tourist beaches.
