Duong Hoang Yen 'traveled across Vietnam' for a day to film the MV "Fatherland in the Sunlight"

In the atmosphere of the whole country towards the 80th anniversary of August Revolution and National Day September 2, singer Duong Hoang Yen released the song Fatherland in the Sunlight.

The song has a sweet melody, praising the pride and gratitude of the young generation for the sacrifice of their fathers in exchange for today's peace .

Sharing about the decision to make the MV "Fatherland in the Sunlight", Duong Hoang Yen said that after the version of "Chiec Khan Pieu" in collaboration with Masew in mid-2024, she started looking for new compositions about the country. Right when she was preparing to fly to Da Nang for a tour, she received a demo from musician Long Ca. Just after hearing the opening sentence, the female singer was moved and decided to put all plans aside and immediately chose this song to perform.

During the filming of Fatherland in the Sunlight, Duong Hoang Yen constantly traveled between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. "There was a day I filmed in Hanoi in the morning and then arrived in Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon to film on time. The crew even complained of being tired from racing with me ," the singer said, laughing.

The MV was filmed at many famous locations in the capital such as Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi Flag Tower, The Huc Bridge, Hoan Kiem Lake, Anh Sao Bridge, City Post Office, City People's Committee Building, Nguyen Hue Walking Street... of Ho Chi Minh City. In addition, there are documentary images recording the beauty of the country during the development and integration period.

Duong Hoang Yen is not pressured when compared with many artists who also released songs about the Fatherland.

At a time when many artists also released songs about the Fatherland, such as Vo Ha Tram and Nguyen who are Vietnamese, Duong Hoang Yen frankly said she was not pressured when being compared.

“On the contrary, Yen is excited to see many artists launch products about the country and people of Vietnam. In the common joy of the nation, the fact that artists contribute meaningful and quality works is a good thing,” she expressed.

Duong Hoang Yen hopes the song will be widely spread, blending with the national atmosphere towards the golden historical milestone of the nation.
