At this time, contestant Le Duc Minh gave the answer: "Self-nourishment" . However, this is the incorrect answer.

Immediately after that, contestant Nguyen Bach Hiep pressed the bell to answer and gave the answer: "Chemoautotroph" .

The program's answer is: "Chemoheterotrophy" .

At the time of recording, the program advisor decided to score contestant Bach Hiep's answer.

At this time, the scores of these two candidates also fluctuated. Candidate Duc Minh had 20 points deducted, from 205 to 185 points; and candidate Bach Hiep went from 160 points to 180 points.

At the end of the 25th year of the Road to Olympia competition in January and the fourth quarter, the two contestants Bach Hiep and Duc Minh were also the two with the highest scores. Bach Hiep won the final with 195 points but only 10 points more than Duc Minh.

However, the Road to Olympia Organizing Committee said that after the competition ended, the program advisor realized that this was an incorrect decision. The answers given by both students were incorrect.

The correct answer should be Chemoheterotrophy – as the program originally announced.

“The program's organizers and advisors send their sincere apologies to the contestants, their families, schools and TV audiences,” the organizers of Road to Olympia shared, realizing that the advisor's decision at the time of filming could affect contestant Duc Minh's chances of entering the competition.

The Organizing Committee said that according to the "Road to Olympia" participation regulations, after the competition ends, the results cannot be canceled, and the scores and rankings of the contestants cannot be changed.

However, to ensure humanity, fairness, and encourage students' learning spirit, the Organizing Committee and the Program Advisory Board decided to invite contestant Le Duc Minh to participate in the 4th quarter contest - Road to Olympia, the 25th year, as the 5th contestant of this contest.
