FIFA and AFC talk about the championship of the Vietnamese team

(Dan Tri) - The World Football Federation (FIFA) and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) both spoke out about the Vietnamese team's AFF Cup 2024 championship.
The Vietnamese team won 5-3 on aggregate after two matches against Thailand to be crowned champions of the AFF Cup 2024. This is the third time in history that the "Golden Dragons" have won this tournament.

Therefore, many people believe that the Vietnamese team will go even further after finding the momentum. The FIFA World Cup page (with more than 61 million followers) posted two articles congratulating the Vietnamese team. After the match, the page posted a picture of the "Golden Star Warriors" holding the championship trophy, along with the status line: "Southeast Asian champion, champion in the hearts of all Vietnamese people!". After that, the FIFA World Cup page used three pictures of the Vietnamese team winning the AFF Cup in 2008, 2018 and 2024. They wrote the caption: "Sweet memories of a time and forever". The status lines of the FIFA World Cup page received great support from Vietnamese and Southeast Asian fans. Each post had tens of thousands of likes and comments. They congratulated the team in a timely manner, with status lines that are very familiar to Vietnamese fans such as: "Seeing Xuan Son means knowing spring has come", " Sports means constant effort" (to tease Tien Linh after the first leg against Singapore) or "Listening to Xuan Son makes my heart full of joy". Meanwhile, AFC wrote an article: "The Vietnamese team won against Thailand to win the championship for the third time". In the article, the author emphasized: "The Vietnamese team excellently won 3-2 against Thailand in the second leg of the AFF Cup final to win the championship. The "Golden Star Warriors" maintained the same excellence as the first leg, to win the championship for the third time in this tournament". However, AFC did not comment in depth on Supachok's goal. This is understandable as the AFC is the representative body of Asian football and so chooses to stand on the neutral side.
