Nearly 250 rubber workers participate in the Northern mountainous region sports festival

Athletes will compete in 7 sports with 18 events, including: Football, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, tennis, chess and tug of war. Based on the performance of the teams and athletes, the Organizing Committee will award first, second and third prizes to the athletes in each event and the whole team. In football, there will be additional prizes for the top scorer and the best goalkeeper.

The 2024 Sports Festival for Workers, Civil Servants and Laborers in the Northern Mountainous Region takes place over 3 days (from May 28 to 30) at 3 competition venues, including: Provincial Multi-Purpose Gymnasium, Provincial Party Committee Tennis Court and Dien Bien Rubber Joint Stock Company's volleyball court.

The Sports Festival for workers, civil servants and laborers is jointly organized by the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group and the Vietnam Rubber Trade Union every two years. This is a traditional movement activity of workers, civil servants and laborers in the rubber industry.

Through the sports festival, it aims to create a vibrant atmosphere, enhance the spirit of solidarity, exchange and learning between workers, civil servants and employees of companies in the whole Group. At the same time, it contributes to promoting the sports movement, promoting physical training and improving health among workers, civil servants and employees to complete the tasks of work, production and business of the units in particular and the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group in general.
