Meet the very strong Chinese host

The Vietnamese women's team is completing the final steps to prepare for a friendly match with host China at the Yongchuan Chongqing 2024 International Friendly Football Tournament, taking place in Chongqing City. Before the final match, defender Hoang Thi Loan said the whole team is highly focused on training, ready for the upcoming important match.

In the first match against the Uzbekistan women's team (October 23), coach Mai Duc Chung's students won 2-0. On the evening of October 26, the whole team also went to the stadium to watch the match between the host China and the Uzbekistan women's team. In the end, the Chinese women's team won 3-0 with goals in the 27th, 54th, and 82nd minutes.

The Vietnamese women's team is actively preparing for the final match with host China.

Evaluating the opponent in the upcoming match, defender Hoang Thi Loan said: "The Chinese women's team is a strong team. The coaching staff as well as the whole team will try to practice to prepare for the next match. I myself will also try to focus on the match with the highest spirit."

"The accommodation and competition conditions are well organized by the host country, fully equipped, and travel security is also guaranteed. The young players are integrating better and are more confident than in the early days of the national team. International training and friendly trips like this help athletes, especially young ones, learn experience and improve themselves," Hoang Thi Loan added.

On the afternoon of October 28, the Vietnamese women's team will have one last training session at the training ground of Chongqing Wenli University before entering the final match of the tournament at 6:35 p.m. on October 29 at the Yongchuan Sports Center.
