Meeting to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of Nghe Tinh Soviet Day and the 25th anniversary of the founding of the Nghe Tinh Association in Ninh Binh

On August 27, the Nghe Tinh Association in Ninh Binh held a celebration of the 93rd anniversary of the Nghe Tinh Soviet Day (September 12, 1930 - September 12, 2023) and the 25th anniversary of the founding of the Nghe Tinh Association in Ninh Binh (1998-2023).

Attending the meeting were leaders of the three provinces of Ha Tinh , Nghe An, and Ninh Binh: Doan Minh Huan, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Pham Quang Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Tong Quang Thin, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Cao Son, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Hong Vinh, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Ngoc Chau, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of departments, branches and mass organizations of the province; leaders of districts and cities; representatives of the Nghe An and Ha Tinh fellow countrymen's associations in Hanoi ; units and enterprises of Nghe Tinh in Ninh Binh.

The Nghe Tinh Association in Ninh Binh currently has more than 5,000 members, organized at 3 levels: province, district, commune in 8 districts and cities in the province. Over the past 25 years, the Association has operated actively and effectively, leaving many marks in the activities of members helping each other develop the economy, charity, encourage learning and talent, disaster relief, etc.

Many children of generations of Nghe Tinh people in Ninh Binh have continuously studied, strived, and trained to become party members, intellectuals, scientists, many of whom hold important positions in the Party and government apparatus of Ninh Binh province.

The children of Nghe Tinh who are far from home, whether successful or facing difficulties, are united, attached, and help each other to rise up. The Nghe Tinh Association in Ninh Binh is currently a meeting place for those who are far from home, always turning their hearts to their roots and having precious feelings for their homeland.

Attending the meeting, comrade Doan Minh Huan, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee, spoke to acknowledge and praise the results of the activities of the Nghe Tinh Association in Ninh Binh in the past time. He also emphasized: Nghe An and Ha Tinh are lands rich in cultural traditions, bravery and resilience in revolutionary struggles, that tradition is demonstrated throughout history with many examples of heroes, celebrities, leaders of patriotic and revolutionary movements, the peak of which is the " Nghe Tinh Soviet" movement.

Promoting that tradition, today, the children of Nghe Tinh homeland, wherever they are and whatever they do, still demonstrate the tradition and good qualities of the people of Nghe. Especially the spirit of solidarity, diligence, dynamism, creativity, overcoming all circumstances, affirming their own values. That good tradition is being demonstrated in the specific activities and work of the Nghe Tinh Association in Ninh Binh.

With the heart and affection of a native son, comrade Doan Minh Huan hopes that the Nghe Tinh compatriots in Ninh Binh will continue to preserve and promote the fine cultural and revolutionary traditions of their homeland through concrete actions in their homeland Ninh Binh, contributing with the Party Committee and the government of Ninh Binh province to build Ninh Binh to be increasingly rich, beautiful, civilized, worthy of the heroic tradition of the historic ancient capital.

Also at the meeting, the Ninh Binh Province Association for Promotion of Education awarded 10 scholarships to students from Nghe Tinh who are in difficult circumstances but are studious.
