This development originated from the international market. This morning, the world gold price was trading at 3,495 USD/ounce, a sharp increase compared to 3,474 USD/ounce at the same time the previous day.

World gold prices rose amid market expectations that the US Federal Reserve would cut interest rates in the near future, causing the USD price to fall.

The converted world gold price is about 19.8 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price.

In the domestic market, the price of SJC gold bars remained unchanged, still at 129.1 million VND/tael (buy) - 130.6 million VND/tael (sell) because the market is on holidays.

However, the price of gold rings of many businesses increased sharply. Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited listed the price of plain round gold rings at 124.7 million VND/tael (buy) - 127.7 million VND/tael (sell), an increase of 1.9 million VND/tael each way compared to the end of yesterday.

Phu Quy Group set the price at 124.3 million VND/tael (buy) - 127.3 million VND/tael (sell) instead of 122.8 million VND/tael (buy) - 125.8 million VND/tael (sell) at the end of yesterday.

The buying-selling price range that businesses commonly use is 3 million VND/tael. 127.7 million VND/tael is the highest price ever for gold rings.

Previously, on September 1, the price of SJC gold bars remained the same, the price of gold rings "increased" by 200,000-400,000 VND/tael.
