Gasoline prices increased across the board, RON 95 exceeded 25,000 VND/liter

Based on the direction of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, businesses simultaneously adjusted gasoline prices from 3:00 p.m. today (April 17).

Accordingly, the price of E5 gasoline increased by 380 VND/liter, the selling price is 24,220 VND/liter. The price of RON 95 gasoline increased by 410 VND/liter, the selling price is 25,230 VND/liter.

Meanwhile, diesel price decreased by 170 VND/liter, selling price is 21,440 VND/liter.

In the most recent petrol price adjustment period (April 11), retail prices of petrol products were adjusted to reduce the price of E5 RON 92 petrol, increase the price of RON 95 petrol and oil products (except mazut).

Specifically, the price of E5 gasoline decreased by 70 VND/liter, the selling price was at 23,840 VND/liter.

In the opposite direction, RON 95 gasoline price increased by 20 VND/liter, reaching 24,820 VND/liter.

Diesel price was adjusted up by 630 VND/liter, retail price to 21,610 VND/liter. Kerosene price increased by 580 VND/liter, price to 21,590 VND/liter.

Regarding the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund, according to the latest report of the Ministry of Finance , by the end of 2023, the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund will have a surplus of more than 6,655 billion VND.

Currently, the fuel price stabilization fund of some key enterprises still records a large positive level because in recent management periods, the fund has been rarely used.

As of April 11, Petrolimex recorded a positive fund balance of VND 3,076 billion; Petimex a positive balance of VND 460 billion; Saigon Petro a positive balance of VND 327 billion; PV Oil a negative balance of more than VND 144 billion;

Regarding the supply of gasoline, the Ministry of Industry and Trade recently said that it will coordinate with relevant agencies to inspect and supervise the implementation of the responsibility of ensuring the supply of gasoline for the market by gasoline traders and will strictly handle violations (if any).
