Gasoline price drops 900 VND per liter before Tet

Each liter of gasoline decreased by 790-900 VND, oil products also decreased by 290-490 VND, from 3:00 p.m. today.

According to the joint management of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance today, the price of RON 95-III gasoline (the popular type on the market) decreased by 900 VND, down to 23,260 VND per liter; E5 RON 92 decreased by 790 VND, down to 22,120 VND per liter.

Similarly, oil products also decreased in price and have new prices of 15,590-20,700 VND per liter.

After 4 consecutive increases, this is the first price reduction this year. In today's management period, the joint ministries continue not to draw or spend from the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund.

The operator said that the world oil market has increased over the past 7 days due to the impact of information about the ceasefire in Gaza, the conflict in the Red Sea, increased oil inventories in the US, a fire at an oil refinery in Russia, and economic difficulties in China... These factors have caused the world oil price to fluctuate, with an average decrease of 1.36-4.16% over the past 7 days.

For example, the average price of finished petroleum products for 7 days with RON 95 is 98.33 USD per barrel, down more than 4%. Diesel is also cheaper by 1%, down to 104.38 USD per barrel. Fuel oil also decreased to 439.11 USD per ton.
