Based on the direction of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, businesses simultaneously adjusted gasoline prices from 3:00 p.m. today (July 25).
Accordingly, the price of E5 gasoline decreased by 270 VND/liter, the selling price is 21,900 VND/liter. The price of RON 95 gasoline decreased by 290 VND/liter, the selling price is 22,880 VND/liter.
Similarly, diesel price was also adjusted down by 310 VND/liter, selling price at 20,190 VND/liter.

In the previous petrol price adjustment period (July 18), the prices of all types of petrol were jointly adjusted downward by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance.
Specifically, the price of E5 gasoline decreased by 110 VND/liter, the selling price is 22,170 VND/liter. The price of RON 95 gasoline decreased by 120 VND, the selling price is 23,170 VND/liter.
Diesel price was also adjusted down by 330 VND/liter, selling price at 20,500 VND/liter. Kerosene price was reduced by 370 VND/liter, selling price at 20,660 VND/liter.
The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Industry and Trade to preside over and coordinate with relevant ministries and agencies to review and study information, press reports and recommendations on the establishment of a petroleum trading floor.
The purpose is to increase publicity and transparency, and overcome the recent instability of the petroleum market. Based on that, there will be appropriate implementation solutions according to the authority and regulations of the law; in case of exceeding the authority, report to the Prime Minister this July.
On the afternoon of July 23, the Ministry of Industry and Trade held a meeting with key petroleum import-export traders on the situation of petroleum supply to the market in the first 6 months of the year and the direction and tasks for the last 6 months of 2024.
In the first half of this year, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued a decision to inspect the maintenance of petroleum trading conditions of 6 key traders and 8 distributors and is in the process of implementation.
In addition, through reviewing the report on maintaining business conditions, the Ministry has directed the General Department of Market Management to inspect 4 key traders and 20 distributors with signs of violations to consider handling according to regulations.
To ensure domestic gasoline supply in the coming time, the Ministry of Industry and Trade is determined to continue to seriously implement the Prime Minister's instructions.
Along with that, direct petroleum traders to closely follow the implementation of the minimum total resources assigned and the quarterly registration plan. Closely monitor the implementation of the minimum total resources of key traders, especially those traders with low implementation...
At the same time, inspect and supervise petroleum business activities according to plan. The Ministry of Industry and Trade will continue to closely coordinate with ministries and branches in state management of petroleum products.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade also requested that traders strictly report on production, import, and purchase plans for gasoline and oil from refineries, circulation reserves, etc. During the implementation process, if there are any difficulties or problems, they should report to the Ministry for timely solutions.
Absolutely do not interrupt the supply of gasoline in the business system. In all situations, it is necessary to provide enough goods to retail stores in the distribution system of the enterprise to maintain regular sales activities. Review and ensure that the conditions for gasoline trading are maintained according to regulations, comply with the law on gasoline trading.
